The 107th Division was an infantry division of the Imperial Japanese Army. Its call sign was the Lull Division. It was formed 16 May 1944 in Arxan as a triangular division. The nucleus for the formation was the 7th independent mixed regiment. The division was permanently assigned to the 44th army.
Action
During a Soviet invasion of Manchuria the 107th division was ordered to march 600km from Arxan to Changchun 12 August 1945. 14 August 1945, the advance elements of the 107th division were ambushed by the Soviet armoured regiment. 15 August 1945 the 107th division was cut from all communications, including radio, and fled to the Inder in Jalaid Banner mountainous region, breaking a contact with Soviet forces. The contact was re-established 25 August 1945, and the division formally surrendered 27 August 1945.

During the fighting, about 1500 division members have perished. Further 2000 have never returned after been taken prisoner by the Soviet Union. Although small fraction of the prisoners have returned to Japan in 1949, the majority were not released until 1956.

Oh No (album)

‎Track listing ← Previous revision Revision as of 00:04, 25 June 2016 Line 84: Line 84: }} }} − :"9027 km" is a 35-minute track on the US version of the album that is not included on the cover sleeve. It is a low-grade recording of frontman Damian Kulash's sleeping girlfriend. After parting with the label, Kulash would later admit that was a hasty recording that he made before submitting the final album to the record label. The track was added to pad out the CD and thereby prevent their label from using the extra space to add DRM software, which would limit transfer of the music from the CD. Kulash justified the inclusion of this track to the label as an old "love note" recording sent from his girlfriend while he was away recording the album and that it would have to be included in its entirety as his artistic license. He later reported that the label could have easily uncovered the truth - that the track was a hasty addition - because there were faint sounds of fireworks in the background of the recording, dating the recording to the 4th of July just before it was submitted. The name of the track is based on the distance between Los Angeles, California and Malmö, Sweden (9027 kilometers), where Kulash and his girlfriend were respectively based during the production of the album. + :"9027 km" is a 35-minute track on the US version of the album that is not included on the cover sleeve. == National varieties of English ==
  +
In a recent edit to the page :Dravidian peoples, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
  +
  +
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to India, use Indian English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author used.
  +
  +
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. As proof, he gives Hardy, Osborne and Styles the number of a crate where Vilmer had stowed cocaine, and they open it.

Hardy then talks to Styles alone. He asks why West wouldn't tell Styles about the drugs as soon as he suspected something. He then accuses Styles of lying, and believes West did in fact go to him, but that Styles was behind the drug dealing operation the whole time; that rather than side with West, Styles ordered Mueller and Kendall to kill him in the jungle and then poisoned Kendall afterward to keep him quiet. Osborne, meanwhile, approaching the office, overhears, and secretly listens. Styles laughs off the accusations, but as Hardy starts to leave by turning him to the authorities, Styles offers him a percentage of the operation, once he's back in business, in order to keep his mouth shut. Hardy, realizing that Styles has been involved in this whole operation all along, says he'll have to think about it and turns to leave. Styles draws his weapon to force Hardy to accept his offer, but is killed by Osborne as revenge for being relieved of duty.
